We got some test results back today.
Gabe is anemic, probably due to his semi-vegetarian preferences. He simply doesn't like the texture or taste of most meat. Gabe and his mom have not discussed the moral or ecological issues of eating meat. He will take an iron supplement.
His scores from the language and motor skill development came back within normal range.

Neither of my boys will eat any meat, either. Sean just refuses outright. Eli will try all kinds of meat but he can't stand the texture so he spits it right back out. Somehow their iron levels are hovering in the normal to low range, but I don't figure that can last. They both have checkups coming up soon, and I predict iron supplements in our near future.
