Sea World, San Diego

That's me stuck in the middle

Me, walking a lizard

Another gondola ride

Orca tanks. This picture saddens my mom. She though Sea World would have much larger tanks for the orcas.

Father's Day

We started a new tradition this year, filling out a "dad questionnaire." I answered a bunch of questions about my dad, and mom wrote them down for me.

I'm the person with the yellow body and green eyes
By the way, most of these answers are true.

Mom improved another idea stolen from the internet

The original Father's Day card (found at: http://tiffkeetch.blogspot.com/2010/06/this-much-card-and-kid-canvas.html), involved one paper hand on each end one with the font "I love you" and the accordion said "this much."
Well, mom thought that was kind of insulting, since the card wasn't very big.
Here's what we did:

I colored the Earth

and the Moon

This is also true.

Little Golfer

We had a putting green at our condo

Mexico

This should have been our first sign of things to come. Be wary of any country that has you enter through metal revolving doors.
Still excited. My first time out of the U.S.A

Our most expensive meal during our entire vacation was in Mexico. Yeah, my parents didn't understand that either. My mom was determined to eat real Mexican food in Mexico. It turns out you can get better Mexican food in the States. Me, I just ate tortilla chips.

I had two things on my Mexico bucket list: Get a luchador (Mexican wrestler) mask, and get my picture taken with a "zebra". These burros painted as zebras are on every corner.

Cars waiting to get back to the U.S. We thought we could beat the crowd by walking across the border, but we had to stand in the heat for half an hour instead. I was excited to use my passport for the first time, but when we entered the U.S., the customs agent didn't even look at it.

Phew, we made it, and everyone got what they wanted.

We cannot recommend anyone go to Tijuana. It smelled, was dirty, loud, and shop owners/restaurant workers constantly tried to convince us to shop/eat at their place. It was a constant barrage of sometimes clever comments, but mostly annoying ones. All the merchandise for sale was cheap crap and food items didn't look very sanitary. We were pretty disappointed overall.
