We got really lucky on our drive to volcano. We left in the evening for our 3 hour drive, it gets dark around 8 PM there, a couple hours in we noticed thousands of stars and then a mysterious red glow. When we went to view the volcano at night we realized it was the volcano we saw during our drive. It was pretty awesome.
