Oil Spill

Gabe is very concerned about the oil spill in the Gulf. Last year we went to Florida's Gulf Coast and it was beautiful. We saw dolphins and all kinds of water animals we don't have here. Gabe and I talked about the oil spill yesterday in the car and today he sat and watched the entire national newscast with me. He really wanted to see what it looked like and understand what was happening. Afterward, he said, "Mom, I don't like oil spills. I don't like drinking water with oil in it." Yeah, me either.

Sick

Gabe was sick last month and then he was better for about a week. Now, he's sick again and possibly has pneumonia. He's on antibiotics and has cough syrup with codeine (which has no effect on him).
